Good Afternoon!

Year 3 have enjoyed a festive week in school, on Monday the children enjoyed their trip to the pantomime, we have been making lots of Christmas themed arts and crafts, including their Christmas card and calendar.  On Thursday we joined the whole school in watching a recording of the ballet of 'The Matchstick Girl' and in the afternoon we took part in the KS2 Carol Service.  Well done to Year 3 as they took the lead in acting out the Nativity story, it really was a joyful occasion.

During our whole school worship this week, the children grew in their understanding of these key messages...

  • Jesus is the Good News, He is our hope and the one we have been waiting for.
  • As Pilgrims of Hope we can celebrate by sharing the Good News with others through our words and actions.

At Our Lady's we like to support our parents/carers in Online Safety matters.

Keeping children and young people safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing society today and it is all of our responsibility to ensure that children are educated to make positive, informed choices when they are online.

This month’s online safety guide gives helpful advice about…

What Parents & Educators Need to Know about TikTok. This online safety guide examines the TikTok app, highlighting risks such as inappropriate content, data misuse, addictive use, and stranger contact.

We hope you find these guides informative and helpful in promoting the positive use of technology to make the online world a better and safer place for us all. Thank you.
