Welcome back to Spring term at Our Lady's. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. We have an exciting start to the new year at Our Lady's with Mr Duffy becoming our Headteacher. The children have been inspired to be the very best learners that they can be. In Year 3, the children have made their new year's resolutions relating to their learning, care and respect towards other people and their belongings. I do hope they feel empowered to shine this term. On Thursday, the children are going to Church to celebrate the epiphany, which was on Tuesday.

In Year 3, the children have been writing a kenning's poem about water... I wonder what our book focus will be this half term for English? Last term we enjoyed our work based on Fox, written by Margaret Wild.

In Maths, we are focusing on Multiplication and Division. I have sent home letters with the children's TTRS log in details. Please encourage your child to log in and regularly use TTRS to help them to recall their multiplication facts quickly. There will be house points for children who have been on.

Our PE Days remain the same - Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Please continue to record reading in reading logs and send them into school daily, along with the book your child is reading. 3 entries in one week = a golden ticket!

We look forward to the term ahead!
