Advent is an exciting time of getting ready for Jesus’ birthday at Christmas. We also prepare and wait with expectant hope for when Jesus will come again!
This week was Miss Cardwell's last week with us. She will definitely be missed!
OUR LEARNING THIS WEEK...
ENGLISH - This week the children have finished editing their polar bear narratives, and begun researching, ready to write a polar bear fact sheet.
MATHS - This week, the children have worked really hard on their multiplication and division skills and applying these to problems.
RE - The children learned about Elijah's journey and constructed a storyboard to show this.
History - The children considered whether the changes introduced by Lord Shaftesbury were historically significant.
PE - The children played basketball.
Science - The children learned about insulation and did an experiment creating ear defenders!
