Our learning this weekā¦
In English the children have been looking at the structure and language of balanced arguments and focused on conjunctions and the passive and active voice
In maths this week we have been multiplying fractions .
In RE we have been looking at Jewish celebrations.
This weekās prayer and liturgy was planned and led by Rosie and Mia. The theme of their liturgy was A Prophet Without Honour. In the Gospel (Mark 6:1-6) it tells us how Jesus was rejected by His neighbours. They would not believe that a person they thought they knew so well could have something extraordinary to say to them.
āA prophet is not without honour except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.ā Mark
In art we have continued to work on our own drawings inspired by the work of Chris Ofili.
In PE the children are working with PE specialist Erin from Blackpool Football Club Community Trust.

At Our Lady's we like to support our parents/carers in Online Safety matters.

It has been brought to our attention, that some children are regularly using these games, Roblox and Minecraft, and these apps on social media, Snapchat and Tiktok. The following safety guides give some great advice about keeping your children safe online, please take the time to read them, check your childās device settings and discuss them with your child so they know what to do if something happens and they donāt feel safe when using them.
