I loved seeing every dressed in their wonderful World Book Day outfits. We did lots of book related activities: designing book covers, joining in with a BBC Live Lesson and of course, lots of reading! Children have written their own reading lists from the selection in the classroom, some children had some pleasant surprises with books they never thought they’d enjoy.
We have been extremely busy with our learning in Year 3 this week. Here’s what we have been up to…
In Maths, the children have been working on measuring length and are moving onto perimeter.
In English, the children have been writing a return narrative.
In RE, the children have learned about Mass.
In PE, the children have started to work on fielding skills.
