This week's prayers help the children to reflect on injustice and how they can play their part in putting things right by choosing God’s way.
Thursday 7th March - World Book Day. We are inviting all of the children to come to school on this day dressed as a book character and to bring their favourite book to share. (Please make sure these are clearly named with your child’s name). Please do not feel you have to spend a lot of money on a costume - it is all about the taking part and the books and we LOVE home-made costumes!!
We have been extremely busy with our learning in Year 3 this week. Here’s what we have been up to…
In Maths, the children have started their new topic length.
In English, the children have been writing diary entries as Jemmy Button and further developing their writing skills before planning and writing a return narrative next week.
In RE, the children have learned about the Last Supper and drawn links between this and the feeding of the 5,000.
In PE, the children have started to work on fielding skills.
