In Year 3 the children have been inspired to shine their light this week. Matthew’s Gospel reminds us to let our ‘light shine before others’ and give glory to the Father. In our prayers, the children invite the Holy Spirit to strengthen them, so that they can shine God’s light by loving others well.
In English, the children are writing their non-fiction leaflets about a geographical physical feature which they have chosen.
In Maths, the children have been using their multiplication and division knowledge to solve problems.
In Science, the children have learned about everyday uses of magnets; including for trains, MRI scans and compasses. They used a compass to follow instructions from their partner to find treasure!

KS2 will see a slight change to their lunchtime when we return for Spring 2, they will break for lunch at 12.15pm and return at 1.15pm. It remains one hour long. This is to ensure we do all we can to achieve a broad and balanced curriculum.
Have a lovely half term break.
