This Sunday will mark the fourth week of Advent. We light the final purple candle to mark the final week of prayer and penance as we wait for the birth of our Saviour. The 4th Sunday of Advent symbolises Peace with the “Angel’s Candle” reminding us of the message of the angels: “Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men.”

This week has been all about our Nativity. I am so proud of Year 1 this week for their wonderful performances. They have worked so hard and it was wonderful to see all that hard work pay off this week.  Thank-you so much for all your help and support with the songs - I am sure you knew them all before you came on Wednesday. I am very grateful for all your help. Mrs Bowdell and Miss Evans did me proud on Wednesday and I couldn't have done it without them. Miss Strother, in Year 2, was a wonderful support too. Well Done Year 1...I am SO proud of you all.

Thank-you for your donations....we collected over £20 for CAFOD - which Fr Frank has kindly collected to donate on our behalf.

Many thanks to those of you who gave Mary and Joseph a home over the past few weeks. Year 1 have loved the Travelling Nativity! They will get another chance to take the Holy Family home in Year 2.

Many congratulations to this week's winners....

Golden Award - Adam for always demonstrating a respectful attitude towards those around him. Adam conducts himself with dignity and implacable manners at all times.

Writing Award - Max for super writing abut the shepherds this week and how they felt about seeing the angels and what they did.

Maths Award - Evelyn for super effort in subtraction work this week.

Golden Ticket Award winner - Khloe!

At Our Lady's we like to support our parents/carers in Online Safety matters.

Keeping children and young people safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing society today and it is all of our responsibility to ensure that children are educated to make positive, informed choices when they are online.

This month’s online safety guide gives helpful advice about…

What Parents & Educators Need to Know about AI toys. AI-powered toys can be both exciting and educational, but they also raise new questions about data privacy, safety, and how children learn.

We hope you find these guides informative and helpful in promoting the positive use of technology to make the online world a better and safer place for us all. Thank you.

We are delighted to be able to share with you the Good News Gospel readings for families. Please follow the link to share the Gospel at home with your family. These are really child-friendly resources to share at home.  Please take a look at these Ten Ten resources to support prayer and worship at home.
