During our whole school worship this forthcoming week, the children will grow in their understanding of these key messages...
- Jesus is the King of Kings.
- On the Cross, Jesus revealed Himself as our King and Saviour.
- When we accept Jesus as our King and have faith in Him, we get to share in the Kingdom of God.
OUR LEARNING THIS WEEK...
ENGLISH - The children have been exploring the meaning of a range of vocabulary, linked to their weekly spelling. We have been investigating adding the prefix 're' and exploring how this changes the meaning of the root word, please encourage your child to continue practising their spellings at home.
MATHS - This week, we have been continuing to develop our understanding of multiplication and division. The children worked hard to find fact families using related multiplication and division facts.
RE - As part of our current topic 'Prophecy and Promise', the children considered the importance of the 'introductory rite' as the beginning of Mass, the children also completed an 'Alphabet Game' linked to the key signs and symbols of Mass.
