During our whole school worship this forthcoming week, the children will grow in their understanding of these key messages...
- God loves us and we can bring our troubles to God in prayer.
- God gives us courage to face our worries and difficulties, and encourages us to help each other.
- We can help and support our brothers and sisters in faith through our prayers, words and actions.
OUR LEARNING THIS WEEK...
ENGLISH - The children have been exploring the meaning of a range of vocabulary, linked to their weekly spelling. We have been investigating adding the suffix '-ian' and how this can change root words from verbs into nouns, please encourage your child to continue practising their spellings at home.
MATHS - This week, we have been continuing to develop our understanding of multiplication and division. The children enjoyed consolidating their knowledge through completing some mathematical challenges and problem solving tasks.
RE - As part of our current topic 'Prophecy and Promise', the children considered the key parts of the Holy Mass, exploring the meaning of key words and actions, exploring the importance for believers.
