On Monday, we celebrated Harvest in assembly. Each class performed a song or a poem in celebration. Year 5 performed a Harvest poem together - well done Year 5!
Thank you for all your wonderful harvest donations, which have been given to Streetlife, a worthy charity that supports homeless people in Blackpool.
This week’s prayer and liturgy was planned and led by Alistair and Jessie, on the theme of saying thank you. In the Bible reading, Jesus heals ten men, but only one of them comes back to say thank you. Sometimes we forget to be grateful for the good things in our lives, just like the others did. But Jesus reminds us how important it is to notice the blessings we have and to say thank you to God. They then challenged the children to think about all the things we are thankful for today.
Just like the one man who came back to thank Jesus, we can remember to say thank you too. When we are thankful, we become more joyful and more aware of God’s goodness in our lives.
“Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
Luke 17: 19

At Our Lady's we like to support our parents/carers in Online Safety matters.
Keeping children and young people safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing society today and it is all of our responsibility to ensure that children are educated to make positive, informed choices when they are online.
This month’s online safety guide gives helpful advice about…
What Parents & Educators Need to Know about Memes. Memes may seem like harmless fun, but they can carry hidden risks. This guide explores how meme culture affects young people - from misinformation to inappropriate content and digital footprints.
We hope you find these guides informative and helpful in promoting the positive use of technology to make the online world a better and safer place for us all. Thank you.
