Our recent learning
Phonics - we have now learnt the following sounds (as well as m, a, s, d and t): 'i - down the insects body, dot for his head', 'n - down nobby, over his net', 'p - down the pirates plait, up and round his head', 'g - round her face, down her hair, don't forget to give her a curl', 'o - all around the orange', 'c - curl around the caterpillar', 'k - down the kangaroo's body, tail and leg' and 'u - down and under, up to the top and draw the puddle'. The children are making great progress in Phonics and many are already orally blending.
Maths - we have been practicing our counting skills. We have also been looking at composition.
RE - we have learnt that not only did God make the world, he also made us! We have also learnt about Baptism.
Expressive Art & Design - we have been making some wonderful Autumnal art - from leaves to hedgehogs to owls!
PE - we have continued practising some of our fundamental movement skills - running, jumping, skipping and hopping.

Online Safety
Keeping children and young people safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing society today and it is all of our responsibility to ensure that children are educated to make positive, informed choices when they are online.
This month’s online safety guide gives helpful advice about…
What Parents & Educators Need to Know about Snapchat This updated online safety guide examines Snapchat’s latest features, including AI tools, Snap Map, and subscription content, and the potential risks they pose to young users, from screen addiction to sextortion.
We hope you find these guides informative and helpful in promoting the positive use of technology to make the online world a better and safer place for us all. Thank you.
