Most areas ( including our school) had the boiled water notice lifted on Wednesday evening.
As I mentioned previously this still did not mean we could allow the children to use mains water for drinking until further checks had been undertaken by Blackpool Council.
I am pleased to say that everywhere in school has had the water tested and all areas needing filters have been sterilized and changed. So we are 'good to go'. However for today we will still be issuing bottled water to the children so we can ensure all taps have had considerable water flow before we allow usage again on Monday.
So, from Monday 7th September the children will be given new sports bottles for their class which they can safely fill from the filtered water cooler each day.
