This weeks Gospel and our learning in RE
Pope Francis tells us that:
‘Jesus is a teacher of truth and life who show us the way to truth and happiness’
When we have Jesus as our teacher, we are being taught by God. Jesus teaches us how important it is to follow God’s laws - to live a good life that is easing to God. Our Catholic schools and parishes try very hard to do the same.
“The family’s strength lies in its capacity to love and to teach how to love.” Pope Francis
Learning:
Maths: We have been continuing deepening our knowledge of Algebra and have started to master solving equations with 2 unknowns.

Science: Linking to Darwin’s explorations in science we are studying Evolution and Inheritance. This week we looked at how species can adapt over time, we also considered how a random mutation can be beneficial to a species survival. We looked at evolution through natural selection.
