In RE the children have been looking at the meaning of the Lord’s prayer.

Dates for your diary:

High School Taster Days…

Year 5 will have the opportunity to visit both St Bede’s and St Mary’s Catholic High Schools to experience a taster day. This will be a great chance for the children to experience what it will be like to attend High school ahead of making their choices next year in year 6.

Tuesday 20th June - St Bede’s Science and Tech Day (Please see letter sent home this week)

Thursday 22nd June - St Mary’s Taster Day

For both visits, we will leave Our Lady’s shortly after the beginning of the school day and will return to school before the end of the school day. The children will wear their usual school uniform (They will NOT swim on Tuesday!) and will need to take a packed lunch. If your child is eligible for free school meals, then school can provide a school packed lunch to take with us (please let school know, so these can be ordered in advance). The school office will have emailed you regarding this.

5th July - MOVING UP AFTERNOON - a chance for the children to experience an afternoon in Year 6!

6thJuly - TALES RETOLD PERFORMANCE AT THE GRAND THEATRE

14th July - KS2 SPORTS AFTERNOON ( KS1 Sports Day will take place in the morning). Please note that if it rains and we are unable to do sports day, our next date will be 17th July.

17th July - Reports out to Parents

20th July - SCHOOLS CLOSES FOR SUMMER HOLIDAYS!
