Key Messages for Whole School Worship
Children will understand that:
Jesus came to the Earth to show us God’s amazing love for His creation.
During Lent, we can grow our friendship with God through loving Him, others, and His creation.
We can be ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ by caring for God’s creation and looking forward to the future when Jesus returns to bring God’s full restoration.

At Our Lady's we like to support our parents/carers in Online Safety matters.
Keeping children and young people safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing society today and it is all of our responsibility to ensure that children are educated to make positive, informed choices when they are online.
This month’s online safety guide gives helpful advice about…
What Parents & Educators Need to Know about Bluesky Social App. This free guide discusses the growing popularity of Bluesky, a public-first microblogging social media platform, and explores what parents and educators can do to ensure children's safety when using the app.
We hope you find these guides informative and helpful in promoting the positive use of technology to make the online world a better and safer place for us all. Thank you.
Our learning this week…
In English, we have been developing character description linked to our lost narrative text ‘Into the Forest’. This week the children explored vocabulary used by the author to describe the characters’ feelings and actions.
In Maths we have begun our topic on ‘Capacity’. This week we have focused on the units of measure including millilitres and litres. We have completed work to practise reading scales on measuring equipment.
In History, we have been learning about Ancient Egypt, we have been exploring how the Ancient Egyptians used hieroglyphics and we had fun decoding some messages!
