Last week two of our Year 4 children, Amélie and Olivia, had the wonderful opportunity to join Mrs Ormerod in her work with the Royal Shakespeare Company. They travelled to Stratford-Upon-Avon and spent two days working alongside  the RSC to become our very own Shakespeare Ambassadors. The two days were spent working on the play 'Love's Labour's Won', also known as 'Much Ado About Nothing'. The girls worked on various scenes from the play and were extremely fortunate to work alongside the leads from the play, Edward Bennett and Michelle Terry, who play Benedict and Beatrice. In the evening the girls were then treated to front row seats to watch them in action.

During their two days, the girls worked with children from other schools across the country to share the successful Shakespeare projects we have already undertaken in school, and to communicate how we will move it forward. The girls, alongside Mrs Ormerod, now look forward to working in their role as Shakespeare Ambassadors to share their experience and new skills with the rest of the school.
